This dark theme thing is a bit more complex than I thought. :) Some fixes to comment styling in Stormy Horizon 1.1.

Robert,
I have been using this theme for about a month now, and I am very pleased with how much work you have done. I did change some of the coloring in style.css as there were a few things that just don’t work well. For example Blockquote test was too dark to be comfortable. The links did not stand out enough. The blockquote.png was too transparent. There are a few things still left to fix, such as the animated search gif does not have a transparent background, etc.
I have one issue that I still can’t figure out, all the sidebar stuff is left justified except for the Blogroll, I can’t find where to change that either in the standard K2 or your style.css.
Overall it is a great theme. Please visit my site and tell me what you think of the modifications. http://blog.hammerton.net

Robert,
I was able to figure out the blogroll and I was also able to figure out where K2 hid the styles for rolling archives so that they blend in better with the theme. Mine is no longer that stormy since I also changed the colors of the tag to be blue and fairly bright. There was also an issue with transparency of the menus in IE, it seems that the filter: must be in a section that positions the text or else it doesn’t work, I found a spot to put it but it requires that all the IE transparency be set to the same percentage. I had to put it in ul.menu as that tag inherits the position statement from the default style.css and it would only work there. I can’t remember where I found the link to that useful piece of IE information but it was the only thing I found that would make the IE transparency work properly. Just so you know, I cannot get the transparency to show on your demo page in IE. If you make the change I suggested it should work perfectly.
I also changed the quote.png to be less transparent and colorized it in PS CS3.
Thanks for all your work.
Bud
