the reindeer effect

I was pretty annoyed that the forecast said it wasn’t going to snow, but then it did anyway, if not very much. I’m not really sure why I like snow (it’s awfully cold), but I certainly do seem to enjoy it.
Looks like I might need a new stylesheet soon….

I’ve been listening to the re-released Yellow card album One for the Kids quite a bit over the past few days. That group is one of my guilty pleasures, not really fitting into any genre of music other than pop. I got one of their older albums, Where We Stand, which is from before they had had any big success. It’s kind of interesting; they were pretty much a mediocre punk band with a violinist. It’s pretty disappointing that I would like a band’s pop songs better than their punk songs. (For example, this is definitely not true of Blink-182.) Oh well.
