the reindeer effect

My mom saw a thing in the paper about Elliot Chasanov (trombone prof. at the U of I) having a recital today at 2. So I went. But then it turned out that it was an ISYM concert (for the trombone camp during 2^nd session). And that Chasanov was out of town and wasn’t playing. Still, the music was pretty good. All of the people’s solos except one were mainly melodic solos though, so it got kinda boring. It was also kinda weird seeing the counselors when I wasn’t at camp. It’ll probably be pretty weird when I go back for jazz camp too, even though I’m not staying at the dorms.
