Iceland to be without oil power by 2050. Sounds good. Mr. Bergandine was discussing that yesterday, and how hydrogen wasn’t a particularly effective fuel, since it’s usualy created through electrolysis, which uses up electricity, which tends to come from fossil fuel. Of course, in Iceland, there’s insanely easy access to geothermal power, so hydrogen can be made cleanly. Hmm… Lots of renewable energy sources? Iceland has no military? As they say, freedom is on the march.
But seriously, pretty neat. Petroleum reserves are supposed to run out around that time… and it’s not as cold as the name implies.

Also, good luck to Jake/Spencer/Taotao. I certainly don’t think the punishment is right, even considering what they did.
In fact, the climate in Iceland is pretty moderate.
An even better thing than that would be to fully utilize the wind power on the east coast and use it to lessen the pollution problems in big cities in CA. :/ I could probably go on about that sort of thing for awhile, too, since “Hydrogen as a Fuel” was my cutting edge topic… <_ <
Hopefully Iceland will serve as some sort of example to other countries (people tend to be so competitive.)
Omg, I wonder if Orb was big on renewable energy. xP
There’s a desk in the english room saying something like “good luck to Jake/Spencer/Taotao.” Even inanimate objects are rooting for them.
Ono, is my comment longer than the post? That would be weird…
